Program: Sam Braun – Cadet Third Class student at US Military Academy at West Point
- Logan Elm grad in 2024
- After graduation, will have four year degree
- Academic, Physical, Military Pilar’s with Character being at the core
- First engineering school in country
- Two presidents were alum
- Cadet life: 6:50am attendance taken – 4,000 cadets eat breakfast together and five hours of classes, 11:30pm lights out
- 6:1 student to Faculty Ratio
- Every cadet required to take foreign language
- NCAA Division 1 Sports as well as Club sports and intramural sports
- When you graduate, you are expected to be an officer of the United States Army
- Can waive service commitment in order to go to law school or medical schools after four year degree
- Application eligibility requirements: US Citizen; 17-22 years old; not married; not pregnant or legal obligation to support a child
- For admission: Academic is worth 60%; Leadership (extracurricular; interview; reference letters)30%; Fitness 10%
