- Larry updates of Ted Lewis Park – $500,000 has been raised (thanks to everyone making personal donations and the club support). New shelter house construction starts June 1st!

- Larry always wanted to be in the Army
- Univ. Cal-Berkeley grad – Cadet Colonel of ROTC with 1,000 students under him
- Wanted to be in the infantry and made 15 jumps in Vietnam
- His 6 man troop were found and 4 of his team died in Vietnam, one was lost to a car accident stateside
- 86 vets on the honor flight with over 40 in wheelchairs – all bonded over the experience
- “Grief to Relief” was what the day meant to Larry
- After 50 years of grief, 1,200 people at the airport showering respect and thanks was the dawn of relief for all his fellow veteran’s on that flight
