  • Health is important and you have to keep moving
  • Great set of directors help run the programs at the Y
  • Child Care Program won 2024 award for After School Program of the year
  • 350-400 kids went through water safety classes last year
  • If you want to volunteer coaching or helping in any way, contact the Y. If anyone has an idea, come in and let’s talk.

  • We are not a break-even Y, Wayne’s goal is to make us one with increasing membership by offering so many options and fundraising
  • Every high school swim team uses the Y, so open swim lanes are hard to come by in the afternoon and evening during swim season
  • Wayne is part of the planning process with the city. Outdoor pool is always on the table, it will cost $2.5 million to build.  Maintaining is not budget friendly.
