Scholarship Drawing: Rob Radcliff won the weekly drawing for $23. Big Bean pot has started over at $87, and continues to grow!
Program: Kelly O’Dell – ultra marathoner and reality star
- High School teacher at Pickaway Ross
- Long distance runner (REALLLYYY long distance)
- First generation college graduate and a big supporter of education
- Longest race was Badwater 135 miles – July 2022 in Death Valley National Park. Nighttime start. Given 48 hours to finish. Trained for the heat at the YMCA sauna.
- Reality Game Show on Netflix – Squid Games. Kelly in first show – won the first game and did not appear again
- Prize for the game show is $4.56 million dollars.
- The show is adults playing kid games: Red Light, Green Light; Battleship and others
- Show was filmed in London, UK. 456 people cast for show. 40% American, 40% UK and other countries make up the rest of the cast
- Kelly’s challenge for all of us: “Action Feeds Motivation”
- 100 miles race Kelly can run in 25 hours – she would not sleep through those. During Badwater 135 she did take a 20 minute nap.
