  3. Applications for Drexel Poling Service Above Self Award for community members- please see Michele Lanman for application. Due last week of May.
  4. May will be a diaper drive – please bring in child diapers – larger sizes are in more need. Bottoms Up out of Lancaster will be the recipient.

  • P3’s mission is to serve as a catalyst, promoting investment, growth, and job retention in Pickaway County
  • Anduril – $1 billion, 5 million sq ft manufacturing facility, over 4,000 jobs
  • Sofidel – $185 million expansion adding 100 new employees. Over 599 employees total over 9 years.
  • Commercial Point – Rickenbacker Exchange now has about 4 million square feet of warehouses 
  • Continued efforts looking for state money: Barthelmas Park Multi-use path on Ohio St., community pool at Barthelmas, new building at fairgrounds
  • Also financial incentives for small business assistance. Meeting with local business reps to find out how to keep them in Pickaway Co.
  • Transportation improvements- state and local dollars: roundabout at SR 762 and Ashville Pike; US 23 & SR762 interchange with 23 going over 762; US 23 safety corridor, South Bloomfield; roundabout at Airbase Rd & Anduril Ave
  • Housing: Pickaway Co. is one of the top 10 fastest growing counties in Ohio. Five or six new housing developments on the books for Circleville alone.
  • Six spec buildings are on the books for starting in hopes to attract manufacturing jobs
  • Local movie theatre has received some state funds for updates
