  1. Bonus Community Kitchen: Monday, Jan. 12th 
  2. Rotary exchange group from Brazil will be in town Jan. 12-15th. After Hours Wednesday, Pizza Cottage – 5pm-7pm
  3. Voting on slate of officers for terms beginning July 2026: Connie Chamberlain, Pres.; John Lambert, Pres-Elect; Daryl Wolfe, Exec. Secretary; David Crawford, Secretary; Ellery Elick, Treasurer; Tom Duvall, Jim Reitano new board members. VOTE: approved unanimously 
  4. Missi Rhodes to fill the remaining board term for Paula Routt who transferred to Sunrise
  5. Voting on updates to by-laws. Minor changes to language and duty of officers. VOTE: unanimously approved
  6. Thank you to following members who helped Dec. 22nd community kitchen: Bob McCrady, Warren Spangler, John & Traci Lambert, Gary & Sandy Montgomery, Betsy Weller and family, Tony & Vickie Robinson. 163 meals served. 
  7. Euchre tournament Feb. 27th, 6-9 pm at Rhoadhouse 56
  8. Jan. 13th – noon at Watt St. board meeting
  9. Jan. 24th – Dueling Piano’s – Sunrise Rotary fundraiser for Inspiration Station. Held at Amvets 5:30pm with dinner. Tickets are on Eventbrite or from Sunrise member 

Scholarship Drawing: Tony Robinson won $24, but did not find the bean for $1,323!

Program:  Jim Rogers, District Polio Plus chair

  • In last 40 years with $2.1 Billion and countless volunteer hours – Rotary has been a part of preventing over 16 million cases of polio
  • $1 Billion annually is needed to vaccinate 370 million children
  • Ways to get involved are Polio Plus Society-pledging $100/year; 125 Club (we have 16 members currently) donation $100 Foundation and $25 Polio Plus
  • District thanks Circleville Rotary for last year’s contribution of over $5,700 which equates to 28,679 children vaccinated
