- Rotary Frosty 5K — Feb. 8th – 10am race time at MVCH Park. Rotary Fundraiser with both Circleville clubs – Shirt & Mug for your $35 donation (don’t have to run, but donate and of course volunteer). On website and facebook page. Please see Heidi or Marie if you need help registering.
- Euchre – Rhoadhouse 56 Wednesday, February 19th. Sponsorship levels are being advertised. Diamond Level : $200 with promotions on print media, event slideshow & social media; Heart Level: $100 includes event slideshow; Club Level: $50 snack bar donor with sign; Spade Donor: gift basket donor or door prize for winners
- Speech contest – March 15th – at the library. Please consider coming and volunteering. See Heidi
- Community Kitchen on Monday, Jan. 27th. 4pm at the Presbyterian Church. We are serving 150 people – please consider volunteering
- Board meeting determined March the yearly dues invoice will go out with due date of April 15th. This is so we are ready for our Rotary International bill based on paid members.
- Next month we will be collecting money and items for Soap-N-Hope and Community Cupboard. List will be distributed next week.

Scholarship Drawing: This weeks winner is Larry Logan for $23 – Big Bean is holding at $461.
Program: Beth Kowalski – Tree Commission Chairman
- Paul Hang, Sheri Theis also accompanied Beth
- 2015 started the tree commission and Paul was commissioner and on the board until 2021
- Circleville Rotary’s own Rick Rawlins was on the tree commission and assisted Paul with weekly watering of the 25 trees planted at MVCH Park in 2019 with $5K grant from DuPont
- 2021 – planted 24 trees
- 2022 – 75 trees
- 2023 – 117 trees ($25K grant from ODNR)
- 2024 – 51 trees – 200 staked out from $1million grant from Federal Govt. Now can hire out the tree planting and have arborist on staff
- Watering done by city service department which is part of the $1million grant to cover expenses
- Arbor Day has designated Circleville a “Tree City” with signs to be put out at the entrances of Circleville
- 300 trees can be planted for the next three years as part of the grant
- Tree commission is also looking for volunteers
- By 2029 commission is on track to have planted over 1,000 trees
- Root guard can also be installed to keep the tree roots from lifting sidewalk
