Club Announcements:
- Four Way Speech Contest, March 14th – program starts at 11am. 10am set-up at the Library – please come and support the local high school students
- Collection for Dolly Parton Imagination Library – Thank you for your donations. We have $2000 from our club (which includes a $1000 district grant) and over $470 raised from members!
- District Conference – April 24-25th at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris. Hotel discount until March 25th. Weekend with Rotarians across our district – connect to see if we can collaborate or maybe you will bring back ideas to help our community
- Bonus Community Kitchen: thank you Rob and Daryl for the Sunday cooking so that Warren, Bob McCrady, David and Marie could get right to serving the 150+ meals.
- Soap-N-Hope collection of cleaning supplies, dryer sheets, cleaning pods, disposable gloves. Bring items in and get a free strip for the drawing.
- OCU is putting on The Center for Executive Leadership “Making AI Work For You” with Dr. Justin Smith on March 19th, 9am-4pm at OCU $99 for Rotarians and spouse for free
- Our board granted the request to sponsor $600 for a movie and a hand-out for kids at Ted Lewis Park summer movies series
- PETS training this weekend for Connie, John Lambert, David & Warren: Our club’s next year’s grants are for Dolly Parton Imagination Library donation as well as handbook for parents through PAAC
- Veteran’s committee – Bob Foster is our chair. Larry and Charlie here today were recognized for their service
