New Member: Annette Hill joins us from New Hope Christian Academy and she has been approved by the board for membership! Annette has been a Rotarian in four different states and now will be joining us 🙂

- Ken Tennant announced PCCF’s Community Action Day October 6-7th- Non-Perishable food items or any toiletries will be distributed throughout the 25 county-wide Community Cupboards. 50,000 items will be given out throughout the year.

Scholarship Drawing: This week’s winner Charlie Hedges received $15 and the big bean stays at $217
Program: Wayne Linthicum, YMCA Director
- Part of YMCA of Central Ohio
- Corporate side: want to reach 500,000 people in a year ; Four locations will grow with either another location or adding on
- I Can Swim program just ended at our Y – a week long program to teach kids from Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities to swim
- Second grade swim program – second graders from Circleville come over to learn to swim
- 55,000 members currently. Hand out 200-300 scholarships a year
- Middle school in Circleville have drawings to win one of 45 day passes from June 1st to July. First 45 days out of school are the roughest for students.
- Pool deck is being refinished with NatureStone
- Programs: pickleball; basketball; soccer programs; dance/art studio; summer enrichment camp; yoga; Pilates
- 55,000 sq ft building opened in 1978 with addition 1980. Second largest in system
- Annual Campaign -$60,000 is Pickaway County goal. All local money stays here. Advisory panel is setting 2-3 projects with the funds raised.
- 103,000 visits this year expected
