Pickaway Ross students were introduced by Janet Barrow – in her first visit to Rotary! Hailey and William are both Logan Elm students – have a great senior year!
Bob McCrady was awarded his chef hat for helping prepare the Bonus Community Kitchen meals. Daryl Wolfe and Rob Radcliff insist he opens a box of pasta like a pro and spreads cheese evenly on casseroles.
SAA Tony Chamberlain in his swan song appearance – if you clapped when I announced this was going to be a short one today – pay $1.
Michelle Blanton ends her program chair month with Dale Herron from Arts Around. President Spangler is giving someone the side eye.

  • We welcomed Heather Foll back to Noon Rotary from Sunrise
  • Angela announced Sock-tober District competition has netted 279 pairs of socks to date. Please donate new winter socks or see Angela or Marie for monetary donations (they’ll shop for you!)
  • Ice Cream Tickets – $5 see Daryl or Bob McCrady. Purchase for friends and neighbors.
  • Rob reported Pumpkin Show Booth needs a Saturday night closing shift filled
  • Jim Hooks announced Big Wheel Race is Thursday, of Pumpkin Show, 1pm. Please let Jim know if you are a regular volunteer and CANNOT make it – everyone welcomed.
  • Gary reported a record 172 meals were served from the Community Kitchen on Monday. Thanks to Warren, Rob and Dodie, Bob McCrady, Daryl, Tom Duvall, Alice, David and Marie and Sandy Montgomery for baking desserts. Fourth Monday of every month from 3:30pm-5:30pm now – come when you can, we can use the help. The Presbyterian Church accepts monetary donations to help keep the soup kitchen stocked. They serve meals Monday, Wednesday, Friday of every week (except Pumpkin Show) and WEDNESDAY’s are actually their busy day!

  • Provide scholarships for local students – grades 8-11 to take classes at Columbus College of Art and Design
  • Arts Around tries to partner with local organizations
  • How can we help Arts Around? Membership, come visit the gallery and purchase something, be a calendar sponsor, volunteer at the gallery, do you want to help write grants – we need you!
  • As a non-profit, all donations go back into Arts Around
  • Circleville is on an Art Trail – because of the outdoor murals
  • Gallery staffed by volunteers Friday 5-7pm; Saturday 11-5pm; Sunday 1-4pm
