- Thank you to everyone who contributed to Toys For Tots. Donations will be going to PICAA’s efforts. 276 toys were collected. ($580 cash donated)
- Community Kitchen thank you’s: Gary & Sandy Montgomery, Betsy & Julia Weller, Warren Spangler, Alice Harker led the charge. 208 meals prepared.

- Sign up for Dec.18th meeting – at Rhoads
- Operation Full Plate – Zone 30 & 31 competition to help feed our neighbors – we are counting the work at the community kitchen so please mark Dec. 22nd on your calendar and bring a friend
- Board meeting – next week. Jan. 8th will be our election for new slate of officers
- Annual talk by Gary Montgomery: tire tread depth check it! State law is 2/32nd’s minimum. If you have an old penny – Lincoln’s head should be touching (2/32nd’s). Tire center’s will be telling you at 4/32nd’s to start ordering new ones. Please make sure your cars are prepared for being stuck during the winter, blankets, hand warmers, snacks, hats/gloves.

- December 11th – Haven House open house. Items for the shelter from cleaning supplies to personal items. 5:30-8:00pm – 18440 Woodhaven Lane
- Open Play Pickleball at Everts Center Dec. 13th 11:30-12:30
- Jingle Bell Party – Mount Oval-Sunday Dec. 14th; 2-4pm $10/child; $5 per parent. Contact historical society 740-474-1495 for reservations by Dec. 10th. Children in grades 1-4
- Genealogical Library is having a queen quilt raffle – Dec. 15th. Stop in and see Darlene for a ticket on her mother’s home made quilt”
- Diaper Drive at Atomic Credit Union for Bottoms Up organization (who will be speaking in January in case you would like to send our speaker home with some packages)

- District Governor’s from our club – Bill Stout, Meeker Terwilliger, Steve Stevenson, Bob Smith
- 75 years ago – “Snow Bowl” – score 9-3. OSU fired coach and hired Woody Hayes. Gene Lindsay was heading back to Portsmouth after the game and stayed in Circleville – an institution was born that night.
Scholarship Drawing: There was a drawing with Tom Duvall winning the day’s pot $24, but not the $1,303.
Program: Evan Callihan- CHS Class of 2011. Basketball coach at CHS
- Varsity 34-31 win last night for the first game of the season
- JV (we have two teams) also won
- 25 high school players and 25 middle school players
- Teams are going all the way to 4th grade
- 6 seniors
- Attitude is one thing they can control – no-one is perfect but they have to keep trying
- Toughness – handle adversity
- Togetherness – we work as a team
- Local competition Dec. 22nd at Teays Valley and Dec. 23rd CHS hosts
- Jan. 10th honoring 1983 CHS basketball team being honored
