Our condolences to the family of Bill Richards. Bill joined Circleville Rotary in 1966 and was a member till his death, Nov. 12, 2024. His friend Bill Stout sponsored him. The Richards farm was the site of yearly club and exchange student picnics. Bill was a world leader in farming practices and we join his family in mourning his loss.
Announcements:
- Sock-tober! Was a club record! 2,886 pairs was enough to win the District contest. Donations were dropped off at the Corner Closet and the Amvets Auxiliary.
- Community Kitchen served 150 meals. Thank you Tom D., Gary M, Daryl, Bob M., Warren, David C., Marie, & Suzie
- Bob McCrady announced Nov. 26, 7pm at Trinity Lutheran Church will be three local church choirs preforming. Free-will offering with the Community Kitchen as the recipient of funds. Bell Choir will be performing with our own Bob McCrady!
- Fundraiser ideas are being thought about – Pickelball maybe? See Tony Chamberlain if you want to help brainstorm
- 125 pin for Marie and Bob Sneed; Marie also received PHF+4
- Sam Sims was here representing Small Business group in Circleville. The Roundtown Mission: Small Business Initiative – Free Hot Meals at Watt Street Tavern November 24th 4:00-6:00pm with bounce house, crafts, and music. Paula Routt is our Rotary representative if you would like to donate funds to help cover the cost
- Gary announced the Community Kitchen – fourth Monday – November 25th

Scholarship Drawing: Rob Radcliff won the weekly drawing for $26. Big Bean is $355, and continues to grow!
Program: Ed Zirkle, District 6690 photographer and visitor to Ukraine 2022, 2023, Uganda in 2024
- First trip in 2022 – 8 months after start of war. Wanted to go as a photojournalist.
- His initial thought would be to meet Rotarians who could help with logistics (Ed is ex-Army)
- Stroke of luck was Rotarians coming out of Ukraine into Poland where Ed was – took Ed into Ukraine
- He was able to meet Rotarians who took him all around Ukraine – meeting him at train stations after dark
- Rotarians collect goods from all over the world and distribute
- Hard to harvest crops in Ukraine because you don’t know where the mine’s have been dropped. There is a group out of England who are working at unmanning the mine’s
