- PAAC parent education material for middle and high school students. Providing a booklet to help parents understand what to look for in their kids actions to stem the tide of drugs and alcohol addiction which can start at a young age
- Pickaway County Special Olympics is the Presidential Charity of the year
- Connie’s stint as a crisis counselor at the local church was the eye opener to go to college for 2 degrees
- Started at Paint Valley with Rotarian Vince Yaniga who had Connie as speaker at a Rotary meeting
- Every life experience can be used to make a difference along our path
