  • This year is a record year – 40 years of women in Rotary
  • Changing up training sessions this year – instead of Fall/Winter assemblies – all effort is going into All Ohio District Conference combining all five districts. Thursday evening is the Gala and Friday, Saturday packed with informational sessions. Hilton Polaris – it is really THAT close. Please consider April 29 – May 1, 2027 with more details to come.
  • Create Lasting Impact is this years theme – Think of these words from a student – “It all started with a scholarship from Circleville Rotary”. It’s seeing possibility before proof.
  • Challenge for the year when we think about Rotary:
    • Inspire – see the potential in people and ideas
    • Cultivate  – patience, one act of encouragement at a time, one member at a time
    • Rethink – adjust the approach, the way people volunteer has changed, don’t forget about tradition – preserve it and move with the times as well
    • Pioneer – willing to move forward when path is uncertain. Impact matters more than comfort.
    • Thrive – invest to protect the future of Rotary
  • District Goals – Annual Foundation $400,000 ; PolioPlus – $200,000 because we are not done yet ; Bequest Society – $400,000 to Create Lasting Impact long after our lifetimes
  • Lives ARE different because we are here
