Club Announcements:
- Community Kitchen set a record: 241 meals served. Took the team a total of 21 hours with 10 volunteers: Daryl, Andy Bull, Tom Duvall, Bob McCrady, Rob & Dodie, David & Marie, Craig Blankenship from Sunrise and Alice kept us moving. We were serving up to 6pm.
- Aug. 6th: Chillicothe First Capital Rotary’s last First Thursday downtown food truck/beer truck/live music at the Majestic Theatre Courtyard 5-9pm
- Aug. 6th: Pickaway County CASA Music Bingo with an 80’s theme – 6-9pm Tavern 22 in Amanda

Program: Max Litter on history of Litter Corporation. Max is the President of First Capital Rotary, Chillicothe
- His family immigrated from Germany in 1800’s
- Started as a construction family (who rebuilt Chillicothe after the great fire)
- Early 1900’s changed to a coal distribution company and bought Rader coal in Circleville 1958
- Richards’ farm was first satellite propane plant 1980
- 1954 Belfoos, the buffalo, from South Dakota started the heard and also inspired the company logo
- Classic Brands distributing has been serving Southern Ohio since 1948
- 1966 Anheuser-Busch brands added
- 1993 built 2 new warehouses to augment the Chillicothe warehouse
- 2 million cases sold a year
