- This off season has been as eventful as season
- Two offensive coordinators hired; two new position coaches; brought in Alabama transfers
- Just finished scrimmage which was broadcast
- Quarterback competition between 5 guys
- Older/experienced roster
- First year of 18 schools in the Big Ten
- Expanded playoffs – could play 16/17 games in the season
- Fatal loss will not happen to change your fate and make it to play into January
- How you manage your health and roster will be important starting this year
- Rivalry with Michigan will change this year because they could play back to back weeks if they are both on top
- Transfer portal is open for next two weeks. You can transfer as many times as you want
- Chip Kelly moved from UCLA to be an assistant at OSU so he could be with the athletes instead of the administrative duties of a head coach
- NIL – OSU has a lot of returning Juniors who will be Seniors. Higher percentage of students returning knowing their NIL dollars can be used as they continue to develop and maybe go higher in the NFL draft by waiting for a year.
