Presidential Charity: President Rob’s charity is the Soldiers Monumental Association of Pickaway County.  Sid Liming was here to accept the $500 donation in honor of all our speakers this year

District Governor Sandy Knoesel & Past District Governor Craig Maxey: Recognized President Rob with his Paul Harris Society +2 pin, as well as, Betty Radcliff and family for their foundation donation in honor of the late Sheriff Dwight Radcliff. Dwight & Betty will now be recognized as Major Donors in the Rotary family.

Drexel Poling Service Above Self Award: Michele Lanman and Rob Radcliff on behalf of the Circleville Rotary club presents the 2026 award to Rodger Southward

  • Rodger had a distinguished career in education 
  • 67+ years of service in the Ashville Kiwanis club 
  • 30+ years in the Ashville Community Men’s Club 
  • instrumental in shaping the Pickaway County Community Foundation
  • extensive faith-based service  

Club Announcements:  

  • Ellery will welcome visitors – call ahead so we don’t all show up at once
  • Community Kitchen those that helped to serve 186 meals: Jim Hooks, Ned Riegel, Bob McCrady, Gary & Sandy Montgomery, Bob Foster, David & Marie Crawford, Alice Harker led the team!
  • Rob announced his family is working with PCCF in creating the “Sheriff Dwight E. Radcliff Legacy of Service Scholarship Fund”. Scholarships will go towards students pursuing public service degrees.

Program: Rob’s year – a look back

  • All 15 goals set back in April have been accomplished and most exceeded by the club 
  • Membership is up to 85 people with 13 coming in this year
  • Service projects and fundraising has been strong
  • Opportunities for young people with scholarships, weekly speaking engagements, and RYLA participation will help create the leaders of tomorrow
  • Annual giving of over $28,000, more than double the goal
  • We remember those that have passed this year, Past District Governor Bill Stout, Past President Vince Yaniga as well as family members, Jo Liggett and Faye Schreiner
