Announcements:In your monthly District Governor email, “Sock-tober” was introduced as our Districts first community service project. Please pick up new winter socks for men and/or women. We will be donating them to local agencies in November. StoryWalk Trail ( 1/2 mile)Pickaway Trail – first 1.5 miles are paved. Still working Circleville to New Holland route. (Bridges needed to finish it)Roundtown Trail – 1.5 miles from YMCA to OCULogan Elm Park is maintained PIckaway County Parks but owned by Ohio History ConnectionRt. 316 out at Scioto Darby – grant application this fall in hopes of a water access pointPast 8 years have given 61 grants over $424,000 (village and township parks for equipment, mulch, etc.)Full schedule can be found at Pickawaycountyparks.orgSlides and zip lines go in this fall at Canal ParkPickaway County Parks is purchasing 25 acres + club house at Cooks Creek from Appalachian Ohio Alliance.
