Program: Joe McNemar & Rob Fanska

  • Our Circleville Rotary Club now is a Charter Partner for Troop 52
  • The troop will still have weekly meetings at Community UMC
  • Scout Master for Troop 52 is Rob Fanska. He is a Logan Elm grad and achieved his Eagle Scout from Troop 52 with Joe McNemar as his Scout Master.
  • 9 youth and 7 adult volunteers currently. Would like to expand and find youth talking to their friends is the best recruiting tool.
  • Each scout troop leader is elected for 6 months and the adults are there for guidance. The troop leader will gain experience in planning events, communication, running a successful meeting, etc.
  • Upcoming events the troop plans; tour of Monmouth Cave in KY; Newark summer camp; Float trip; Backpacking in Zaleski State Forest in the fall
  • The troop is interested in learning more about Rotary and how they can help us serve our community
  • There is one member looking for an Eagle Scout project and will contact our club
