- “Gift of Hope” boxes! Box assembly at Pickaway-Ross is October 21st at 6pm. Our donation will be $5,100 for the cause. Sign-up to help.
- Big Wheel Race also coming up fast – Jim Hooks is the race director. Thursday, Oct. 16th, 1pm at the Race Track on Pinkney St. for all volunteers
- Oct. 8th – Wed. 10am-4pm Blood Drive – Rhoad’s Farm Market – get a free pumpkin!
- RD Saunders invited us to his President’s Breakfast on October 7th – 8am at OCU. Stay for the chapel service at 9:25am and at 10:15 is the planting of an Oak tree in honor of the 2029 class. RSVP president@ohiochristian.edu.
- Socktober! Is starting again with it expanding to winter hats/scarves/gloves/underwear and Taylor Gibson is leading her team: John Lambert, Suzi, Heidi and Stacy. WINTER SOCKS only please, not summer socks. Last day to collect is October 30th.
- Wreaths Across America – distribution Dec. 17th – they will be $17 each again. Gary Montgomery has the sign up sheet.
- Honor Flight return for Charlie Hedges will be November 6th – 8:45pm at the Delta Ticketing
- Pumpkin Show booth pre-sale tickets until October 9th! Floats are $6. Pre-sale = $5

- 9/11 stair climb on Sept. 11th – over 350 showed up with Ohio Health sponsor and schools participated. Registration fee is donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Fund. 110 flights – if you didn’t run the stairs, you can walk the track
- 25 streets repaired this year
- Grade separation project $25 million project – $2.5million is city’s part 2030-2032
- Code enforcement officer has started
- Homelessness – a lot of work being done with surrounding counties
- Barthelmas Park update – grant opportunities for park work is being investigated
- Safety/street level – Nov. 4th ballot
