Club Announcements:
- Bonus Community Kitchen served 145 meals. Daryl thanked Rob, Warren, Suzi, David & Marie, Bob Mc, Gary & Sandy, along with Brenna and Michele for desserts
- Rotary Board meeting is rescheduled for next week – 22nd at 11:30
- Blood Drive – Wednesday, July 23rd, 10am-4pm at Rhoadhouse 56

Scholarship Drawing: This weeks winner is John Lambert for $18 – Big Bean is holding at $877.
Program: Casey Liddy – the response to the evacuation of Berger Hospital
- One month ago yesterday – June 18th – Ohio Health leadership day in Columbus. Casey and his head nurse got the call.
- Failure of a pump – fan blade broke and overheated an engine and smoke filled the hospital
- Fire department ordered the evacuation of the hospital
- Leadership team of the hospital evacuated 70 patients and all staff under an hour.
- There was a field hospital in the parking lot when Casey arrived
- CHS was established as a med/surg unit for those about to be discharged – CHS created secure Wi-Fi for Epic coverage which was seamless care
- 7pm next night ED was open
- 900 sets of surgical instruments were sterilized by Monday thanks to other facilities opening their doors and equipment with staff working hard to get it done
- Recovery has gone very well – root cause analysis is being done currently
- Casey ended his presentation with this: “Neighbors came with water and tents and things I will never know. I am grateful.”

- A former educator, administrator and community leader
- Meritorious Service award from U.S.Air Force highlighting his exceptional leadership and dedication
- Served multiple schools as Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent prior to landing in Circleville to be Superintendent of Logan Elm Schools for 16 1/2 years
- United Way chairman, Chamber of Commerce President
- Continues to serve the community on the Pickaway Lease Oversight Board and OhioHealth Berger Governance Council as well as past Berger Hospital Board of Governors vice chair
- Active with the Presbyterian church outreach to the needy in our area
