Club Announcements:  

  1. Community Kitchen – Thank you Gary & Sandy Montgomery, Ned Riegel, Bob McCrady, Warren Spangler, Rob Radcliff, Bob Foster, David & Marie Crawford
  2. The first 20 members registering for the Zone Conference in Columbus will be reimbursed $50. Saturday (Sept. 6th) only ticket is $150. Registration is: https://www.rizones30-31.org/institute/2025-columbus/. (Thursday-Saturday program is $575)
  3. Root beer tub for donations is now posted on the check in table
  4. Bob Foster is working on t-shirts and polo shirts
  5. Sept. 2nd (Tuesday) – Columbus Clippers 6:15pm $30 – with $10 coming back for food. Aug. 15th is cut off for registration – see Daryl. Fun for the whole family plus your neighbors!

  • Rob Radcliff grew up in what is the engineer’s office now, why? It was the Matron residence (not known as the sheriff’s residence)

Program:  Kristen Kaiser – Exec. Director: Big Brothers, Big Sisters

  • All youth achieve their full potential is the vision
  • Big’s have to be at least 18 years old
  • Little’s are any kids who need extra support in their life, 7 years – 14 years old (age out at 18 years)
  • 5 counties are served – with Pickaway being second largest county (after Ross) where they serve
  • Currently serve 474 youth
  • Have school program with Circleville, Westfall, Teays
  • Mentorship has proven to: empower, fulfill, inspire, serve, protect, heal, encourage and defend
  • It takes Little to be Big (doing the little things will be the big impact) – Ice Cream, ball games, library, Ted Lewis park, walking the trails at MVCH Park
  • October 18, 2025 – dance for Kids’ Sake fundraiser (looking for corporate sponsors)
  • How to get involve? Volunteer, donate, promote, refer
  • Volunteer’s are asked to commit to one year and a minimum of 4 hours a month to sparse out as it fits
  • They are always looking for different venues to set up programs
